@david I am unable to replicate this issue locally and the URL you provided is not passing any query string parameters so I don't know what parameters you have configured to be able to look at your page.

When I enable dynamic populate on a Name Field using the Normal Format and give the first name field a parameter of fname and the last name field a parameter of lname and then pass the values via the query string... it works. See this screenshot:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/185347/Slingshot/Pictures/Screen%20Shot%202012-03-14%20at%205.32.55%20PM.png

That screenshot shows the query string parameters, values and the fields being pre-populated with those values. The field is required and if I clear the values and try to submit it, it triggers required field validation. See this screenshot:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/185347/Slingshot/Pictures/Screen%20Shot%202012-03-14%20at%205.33.33%20PM.png

The first thing to do is make sure the parameters you configure are all lowercase and that you are passing the parameter names as lower case in the query string. In the URL you provided, you aren't passing any query string parameters so nothing would be pre-populated.

Test to see if you can recreate a form like I have above and if it works.

If you still have an issue, send me the following:

- URL of the page containing the form with the correct query string parameters being passed
- WordPress admin login for the site

You can send this information to me at carl@rocketgenius.com. Be sure to reference this forum post in the email.

For any visitors reading this post, please do not email me information unless it has been requested from you. This is for the original poster only.

@kreativmonkey You have already submitted a support request for this issue. Your issues may appear to be the same, but that does not mean that they are. Please deal with your support issue via your existing support request as responding to others requests can just add extra confusion to the situation and make it difficult to assist the person who created the forum post and close the thread when there issue is resolved.

Hey Team,

Since the most recent update I can't get my form to take values from a query string. Specifically the name (normal format) field. Strangely enough the form will take the email value from the string?

I have tried deleting the field and adding a new one for a new ID key, as well as changing the field parameter.. nothing seems to be working. Also, it is a required field but the form is taking submissions with empty vlaues?? I realy need your expertise here, Thanks.
