We run about a dozen basketball events in the U.S. and have dealt with this issue over and over again. Some registrants have filled out our lengthy registration form six times before finally actually making payment on PayPal. When we contact them they simply tell us that they were "confused" by PayPal's landing page.</p> <p>If you can justify the expense upgrade your PayPal account to Pro ($30 a month). We are in process of doing that right now. That way your registrants won't have to leave your site to make payment. Much better. </p> <p>In case you didn't know, PayPal has released an Advanced option ($5 a month) which like the Pro option keeps the registrant on your site. Unfortunately, Gravity Forms does not support the Advanced product yet. (Only those w/ APPROVED payment status is reflected in Paypal.)</li> <li>So after much research and testing, we determined those users must have successfully completed the entry form, but aborted before payment was made. </li> </ul> <p>That explains most of the Gravity Forms PROCESSING entries. </p> <p>However :) </p> <ul> <li>we have also received "duplicates" in GF entries dashboard:</p> <ul> <li>the first entry is noted as payment status PROCESSING, followed by an identical user whose payment status is noted as APPROVED.</li> </ul> </li> <li>I was not able to duplicate this, and I'm not sure how these duplicates occur.</li> </ul> <p>IPN notes:</p> <ul> <li>No IPN sent for any user whose payment status is noted as PROCESSING.</li> <li>IPN notify is set to:<br /> <a href="http://www.masscouncil.org/?page=gf_paypal_ipn" rel="nofollow">http://www.masscouncil.org/?page=gf_paypal_ipn</a></li> </ul> We have enabled (today, to troubleshoot):</p> <ul> <li>-Send admin notifications only when payment has been made</li> <li>Send user notifications only when payment has been made</li> </ul> <p>Any assistance so we can sort out this "duplicate" entry issue would be profusely appreciated!<br /> And thanks in advance. </p>
