I must have updated some of the form settings after switching to ajax, and so the form fields got assigned new values. After updating to use new merge field values, my notifications now work. Thanks and please disregard this thread.

As a side note, If I view the page in firebug in Firefox, it reveals that the hidden form fields have the correct values. Upon submission, it also appears the values are saved in the entries section of the wordpress admin interface. I have an email notification that is setup for the form and it uses some of the dynamic fields. Generated emails seem to be the one point where the values are not being used right (despite other merge fields working, which when ajax is off, includes the dynamic fields)

I'm trying to use the Gform field value $parameter name hook for dynamic population in an ajax form.

My hook uses the global $post variable to get the excerpt of the post the form was used on.

This works well for non-ajax forms, but is there a way get this to work with ajax-enabled forms?
