i cobbled something together that uses the Members plugin. add a capability called gravityforms_manage_form_4 to a user and that user can only manage for ID #4. If the user tried to edit or view details or entries of any other form, it does not allow it.

Seconded. We have the same situation as the OP.

Using the Members plugin, if we could add custom capabilities (e.g., gravityforms_view_entries_form1, gravityforms_edit_entries_form2, etc) that would be enough. We could then enable/disable permissions based in the Role Manager included with Members. No need for a fancy GUI for managing roles within Gravity Forms :)

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members/

Permissions are not that granular in Gravity Forms at this time. We'll keep this as a feature request. Thank you.

Hi
My customer runs a site where several departments administrate their own forms. The forms and especially the entries from one department should not be accessible for the other departments.

I have tried the role management module, which seems insufficient as it only deals with permissions levels across forms - not specific forms.

Any ideas how to accomplish this. Otherwise it is a request for future development.

Best regards
