@latchie The issue of email not arriving at your clients domain email probably isn't going to be SMTP related. It's going to be web server related. Contact BlueHost support and explain to them email sent via PHP is arriving to your GMail but not the same domain name as the site. They should be able to tell you what needs to be changed in your control panel.

i am having the same issue. Notifications come to my gmail (which is the default admin email) but not to my clients domain email.

After i install the plugin, will the SMTP settings i use be from my clients site host, which is Bluehost, or my clients email host?

Thanks

You are going to have to install and configure the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send mail via SMTP. You can download the WP Mail SMTP plugin here:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

Your web server is not allowing mail to be sent using standard PHP sendmail. Because of this you will have to use SMTP.

You will have to contact your web host and get the proper SMTP settings in order to properly configure the SMTP plugin.

Are notifications not working completely or are you only having problems sending notifications to email addresses that use amarltd.com domain name? This is an important distinction as it would determine what the issue is.

To test if notifications are sending email you can create an email account at GMail.com and then setup your notifications to send to that address.

That is the first step in determining what is going on. Email notification issues are always a server configuration issue. If the email does arrive at the GMail.com account then it's a server configuration issue with the amarltd.com domain name setup itself.

Test with another email address and then let us know what happens.

I would suggest sending a WordPress login to the folks here at Gravity Forms for your WordPress installation. It will be difficult for them to see what is going on without being able to inspect your form.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/contact-us

If you are having trouble with just the notifications to certain email addresses (like Google Apps addresses maybe, or the same email address as the email notification appears to be coming from) then you may have a server configuration issue. Please post more information or send a WordPress admin login via contact form, and reference this post, so someone can help you out.

Hi There,
I just created a test form on the site here: http://www.amarltd.com/testing-form/
I tried filling out the form and did receive the message confirming that the email has been submitted successfully. However, the user notifications and the admin routing BOTH are not working even though I have set it up on the back end with the default recipient being the office.
Can you please help me to figure out why is it not working?
Thanks!
