Thanks for the reply. I will look and see and decide from there. Thanks. Currently I decided to install Wp-Member by Chad Butler and it's doing 90% of what I want it to do...but still not a complete solution.

Thanks for the information.

If you click on your profile page here you will see your existing license and have the option to upgrade from there. I believe the price difference is $149.

That is our solution and the one I am most familiar with, but there may be other solutions out there for you.

How much is it it to upgrade to a dev license? Dpending on the price, it may just be more cost efficient to use what I currently use on other sites. One solution would be nice though.

If you upgrade your license to the Developer license, you can use the current beta version of our User Registration add-on. That will allow you to replace the WordPress registration form, and will also send the confirmation email you want, and allows for user activation as well. Sounds like everything you want to do. You don't need any other plugins, just a developer license and the beta User Registration add-on.

I am wanting to allow subscribers to my wordpress site. I am not using any sort of plugins for membership, I simply elected to allow anyone to register in the general settings of the dashboard.
What I would really like to do is create a registration page or sidebar widget with a registration form. This form would then possibly use an smtp plugin or something to send a confirmation email to the persons email they typed in. They then have to click on a link in their email inbox and it brings them back to the site to confirm registration.

Is this something I can do with just Gravity Forms or will I still need the assistance of other plugins? If so, I have one available I use on another site of mine.

Thanks for the insight.
