The names of the roles can be adjusted in bbPress, and there were plugins which allowed for access control to certain forums. What I'd like to do is just use CSS to replace the roles underneath a username. Unfortunately, bbPress just uses .bb-author-role and no specific class for each role. Gravity Forms can store the data in whatever format you want, but the group functionality or role and controlling access to forums is all up to bbPress. I considered a different user role, but I'm not sure if that would allow me to do what I want (deny access to certain forums and display an image under their avatar).</p> <p>Hope that makes sense!
