I just don't really want to install another lightbox plugin when my theme is already using prettyPhoto.

Looks like that should be good to go. I don't have much experience with prettyPhoto specifically, but there is this tutorial out there that we reference to people when they are trying to use a lightbox type of modal box for their forms if you wanted to see if that made a difference:

http://websitesetuppro.com/how-to-open-gravity-forms-form-in-a-lightbox/

I believe you just need to enqueue the scripts because of how you are placing the form. If you take a look at that link above, down at the bottom - there are instructions on how to do this. Try that out and see if it solves your problem.

Yes, I am using a shortcode with AJAX turned on. Like i said, the form does give me a message when the form has been filled out correctly.

With AJAX turned on, and when the form has not been filled out correctly, the form doesn't close. I know the validation message is there because if i close out of prettyPhoto and reopen it, without refreshing the browser, the validation messages are there.

If I turn off AJAX and submit the form without filling out the required fields, the prettyPhoto just closes.

Thank you for looking into this.

Are you embedding the form with AJAX turned on?

I am trying to set up a gravity forms SIGN-UP form using prettyPhoto. This form will just require the user to insert a phone number and their name.

I was able to get the form on the prettyPhoto using hidden inline content, the problem that I am having is that there is validation/notification messages when clicking submit. For example when the form has not been filled out and I click submit, the prettyPhoto closes and so there is no sign of error messages.

I was able to post the website online, the form pops up using the button on the top right corner of the website, the button reads "Sign Up For Text Alerts!".

Again, the problem that i am having is that i receive no validation errors when the form has not been filled out, and having two required fields it should come up with an error message. When the form has been submitted correctly, I do receive a validation message.

Thanks in advance to anyone.
