Ok.

I guess I'll just "pull the trigger" on the Single Site License -- and upgrade to my original choice of the Multi-Site License if it works with my host.

Thanks for your assistance.

Odd about the plugin, but If your server setup is what you indicated earlier you should be able to run Gravity Forms with no problems.

Thanks.

Yes, I had activated it. I also logged out and back into WP to see if the status would be updated. Then, I logged on with a different browser to eliminate any possible cache issues.

I guess I have no choice but to purchase the product and hope that it works.

Do you agree?

Once you've installed the plugin, you have to make sure you click the "activate" link for it to function. It's possible you missed that step and that's why the message didn't display.. As Alex mentioned, your config should be fine to support Gravity Forms though.

Thanks Kevin and Alex.

My main plugin page does not display that status message in the green box in the screenshot. Being a newbie, I'm assumed that I only had to install WP to get up-and-running. Is there some other action I should be taking -- or some "operator error" on my part -- that might explain the missing status message?

Thanks

blafarm,
If you hosting will be configured as you mentioned, that is a supported Gravity Forms configuration. You are good to go.

You should see a notice with the status next to the plugin information on the main plugin page.

Sorry for this newbie post.

I'm hosted by InMotion Hosting.com and they offer:

WordPress 2.8.6
PHP version 5.2.9
MySQL version 5.0.81-community-log

I have uploaded the Requirements Check Plugin -- to the Plugin folder and activated it. However, I'm not sure what to do next -- and nothing particularly interesting seems to be happening on its own.

I've looked at the code of the plugin and it seems to be capable of delivering one of the following messages:

"Congratulations! Gravity Forms is supported!"

or

"Your host is not compatible with Gravity Forms".

But I don't know how to make either of those messages appear.

I'd really like to buy this product and get going.

Can someone help?
