Bumping this up! The Gravity Forms plugin does the trick. I still have to figure out the badge graphic/image, but I could get the form to fit. It isn't hooked to anything yet, just there for pretty. http://generate.sensiblestrategy.com/blog/

It doesn't work for me either. Is it something about a widget? The box and sign-up form are a special widgetized area, like a sidebar.
My form is connected to the aweber app. The gravity code isn't a script. Does that make a difference? If I created a form with aweber or another service, there would be javascript code to enter into that widget box or on a post or page.
The gravity code works fine for pages or posts, but doesn't want to work on this

This is the code for a gravity form. [gravityform id="1" name="email1" description="false"]
The gravity form would only have an email slot and a submit button. I've published a page that shows how it should look. http://gravity.sensiblestrategy.com/gravity-sandbox/

I just can't get the regular gravity code to work in the widget.

Thank you for your help.

OK, thanks for the new URL. I see the box where I enter my email address. It didn't do anything except return after I submitted. What is supposed to happen?

I'm unfamiliar with most of the items you're talking about in your first topic, so please break it down a little for me and we'll take it step by step.

Changing websites because I'm working with other form options at the first one. Please use: http://gravity.sensiblestrategy.com This is a fresh WP installation with no extra plugins.

plural and punctuation save lives.
I profoundly apologize. http://authors.barjd.com

http://author.barjd.com
I'm trying to integrate the gravity form with the signup option in the Generate box (a feature box).

I have a form with an email field and title field. I have a fresh api from aweber
I have a feed to a list at aweber.

I have a short code created using the wysiwyg dashboard of a page template (not published)

[gravityform id="1" name="email1" description="false"]

The feature box is activated by adding a text widget to the box 'element' at the widgets page.
There is a section of the php code which creates the text in the black area where one adds the code for the form. This works for aweber generated forms. However, they dominate and I don't like them which is a large part of why I purchased Gravity. The area is marked by a line: < —place your form code here—> The code from Gravity has to be placed with <> but without [] or the code shows.

When I do it the way that appears to make sense, NOTHING happens. I thought for awhile that getting the shortcode through the page template was part of the problem, but that doesn't make sense. Someone at StudioPress, when I presented that possibility, suggested some php changes which blew my installation to smithereens, the way php errors can do.

Has anyone any experience with the feature box widget?

Thank you very much for your assistance.
