When there's an error which prevents the form from being sent (e.g. a required field not being completed), it isn't obvious to the end user because the error message is out of sight.</p> <p>Is there a straight forward technique to do any of the following? :</p> <p>- Scroll the page to the form's location after unsuccessfully submitting.<br /> - Relocate the error message to the top of the page.<br /> - Show the error message in a lightbox or similar modal window</p> <p>Or, can you recommend a different approach for highlighting the issue to the user?</p> <p>Thanks. </p>
