There was a problem in the past with changes to how the plugin was upgraded directly from within the admin. I thought it was resolved in 1.3.13, but maybe not. You might have to do a manual installation this one time. Download the zip file. Remove the existing plugin folder on your site. Then unzip the new 1.6.1 version, and upload those files.

You should be able to update your current version to the latest from within the WordPress admin by just updating the plugin straight from inside there. Do you not have that option? If you have a valid license key you shouldn't need to download a zip file separately and install manually, that's one of the perks/conveniences to having a license key.

I currently have 1.3.13 and have a notice within wordpress plug-in section that there's a 1.6.1 version out; I downloaded it and have the zip file but how do I replace the one I have installed? Wordpress tells me it's up to date, but clearly it's a difference version. I have a license key but I just don't know how to proceed at this point and don't want to lose my existing forms. many thanks.
