For complex calculations, it's possible you won't be able to perform them with the built in calculations within the form builder. If you can't figure out how they got the numbers, we won't be able to. You might have to look up the value from that table after the form is submitted, or it's possible you need a custom coded solution rather than Gravity Forms.

I'll try to give an example without being too confusing:

1-2-3=monthly income
Take monthly income and the number of children (between 1-6) and look at the chart here:
http://www.supportguidelines.com/glines/la_cs.html
Then take that number and multiply it by the percentage of shared income.

I can do the calculations except when it comes to the chart. There really is no method as to how they got those numbers, I tried to figure that out. There has to be a way to do this without entering all the numbers.

This person used an excel spreadsheet and converted it to his website:
http://www.beaumontdivorce.com/metairie/louisiana-child-support-calculator/worksheet-a

What happens when you do select 1 or 6? Do you mean something unexpected happens when you do enter 1 or 6 in your first input box?

It gets worse - depending on what number it is, 1-6, then this chart gives another number to factor in. Am I making sense? Really frustrated....
http://www.supportguidelines.com/glines/la_cs.html

Here is my form:
http://www.thecivillawcenter.com/forms/

The whole calculation is dependent on the first question being answered between 1 and 6. When I insert a number field with calculation enabled to determine the results, I cannot select either 1-6. I tried inserting a multiple choice, drop down and radio button but you can't select any of those for formulas.
