1. Sounds correct.

2. OK

That would be two forms. The initial registration form, then they would log in with the WordPress default login, and then they can edit their WordPress user profile. You should require at least real name and email address.

However, I am unsure how the Directory Add-on fits into this. I am not sure if they allow editing of existing form entries (I believe it does, but you should check to be sure). I'm not sure how that plugin fits into your process, other than for display. We do not provide support for that plugin as it was not created by us.

NOTE: I should have added that we intend to use the Directory feature so that we can have a public online directory of who is attending (people can opt out of the public display). We would have only a few fields display as part of that online directory.

We used Wufoo forms last year for our conference registration, but I want to use GF & add-ons this year.

I want to set up form(s) so that we collect minimal info before sending people to pay for the conference, and then they come back, login to their info and can finish answering questions and/or modify their own information.

So, the way I *think* we need to do it is:
1. Initial GF form that sets up a login, password and collects user name (First, Last) and an email address, then using PayPal plugin, send them to pay for registration (limiting # of people who can do this w GF settings)
2. After payment is completed, the user can go back to our website and login to be able to access their own directory info BUT we now want them to be able to fill out all the rest of the information we would want to capture.

Should I set up one form or two? If just one form, should we have required fields that get filled in before payment and then later they can come back and fill out the other fields?

Suggestions?
Thanks so much
Karyn
