When you add a form to the sidebar with a widget or by just using the function call, you have to manually enqueue the Gravity Forms styles and scripts by adding a block of script to your functions.php file.

http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/embedding-a-form/

Once you've enqueued the styles and scripts, you'll notice the styling changes. If you want to customize beyond that you can place any custom styles in your Thesis custom.css and tweak the styles until the form suits you.

If you need some extra direction with the styles, we've created a visual guide to help get you started.
