Sorry, I am not sure. We have half a dozen developers working on various projects and as much as I would like to say that a better notification system is en route, the best thing you could do to help it is make a request in the features request forum.

Thanks for the quick reply!!
You wouldn't happen to know if there's going to be any development in this department any time, soon, would you?

Cheers

This isn't something built in to Gravity Forms. Gravity Forms notification system was built using WordPress' wp-mail and as such it can't easily send out multiple different messages based on one form submission. Also, other than the BCC field, there is currently no way to send to multiple people.

You could using the Notification to User, change the e-mail address before it gets to the user notification section by taking what is put in a field and modifying it

Have a look at the following:
http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_autoresponder_email

Hi,

I'm trying to accomplish the following.

In a form, the user needs to fill out two user IDs in fields. After filling out the form I want both user IDs to receive a different email. The user IDs + @domain.com are valid email addresses so I would like to generate them with merge tags. So far, I've not been able to accomplish this.

Gravity does at present not allow merge tags in the 'to' fields of the admin notification (complains about this not being a valid email address). For some peculiar reason notifications (in any form) via BCC don't work at all, so using them is not possible, sadly. Besides, I would prefer not to use the BCC field for this.

The user notification only lets me address mail to a single email field and does not allow merge tags either.

As I'm trying to send two different messages I first tried to use both the admin notification and user notification.

I've seen that there might be a way to code around this limitation. Is what I've described at all possible? If so, could you give me some pointers that might help?

And as I'm going to leave Gravity Forms in far less technical hands soon, I wouldn't want to leave my collegues with a hand coded solution, so I 'd rather have the option to add merge tags to mail addresses added to the notification settings. I've read that you plan to overhaul the notifications of GravityForms at some point this year. Could you tell me what the feature road map and planning looks like as far as notifications are concerned?

Hope to hear from you!
Cheers
