It's not difficult. But we haven't yet made this a built in feature because the entry is important. The entry data is what it used to send notifications, integrate with 3rd party services, etc. The form post data itself is not.

All of this takes place after the entry exists so that the data that is used to send notifications, integrate with 3rd party services, etc. is the data after any code manipulations that may be implemented have been run.

You can automatically delete entries by implementing a code customization. This is discussed here:

Wow, how could this not already be implemented with Gravity Forms by now? I have a WPMS install of over 260 websites and I do not want to collect database entries for all of these forms. There are a few forms that I would like to record but keeping records of all submissions would be way overkill.

How about adding a simple checkbox to the individual "form settings" pages that would allow entry recording into the database to be either enabled or disabled?

This really can't be that difficult for you guys, right?

Thanks
