Downloaded the 1.5 release, and the HTML5 validation is working great..passes with flying colours!!

When is the next public release just out of curiosity?

thanks

I'm not sure, you'd have to look at the Settings page of Gravity Forms in your WordPress dashboard or your Plugins page that lists the plugins you have installed. There are 2 versions available for download on the Downloads page. The latest public release and the latest development release. I don't know which one you downloaded and installed. If you have no form action then you must have downloaded 1.4.5 which is the current public release. The 1.5 release on the Downloads page is considered a development release still, although it is stable.

Thanks guys, you responses have been super-quick, I take my hat of to you!

So what version do I have? I downloaded about 3/4 days ago.

The Gravity Forms v1.5 development release already incorporates this change. So if it's critical you can download the 1.5 release from the Downloads page. It is stable, and implements the form action.

I'm not sure exactly what files you would need to alter for this. I can ask our lead dev and let you know. As far as modifying the plugin files, you're welcome to do whatever you would like but you have to remember to save those changes somewhere before you auto-update anything.

Would that be possible? (Referring to the plugin files, Im pretty savvy hacking around, or is this a no-go?)

Could you point me in the right direction?

thanks

Okay, thanks. We'll check it out and see what we need to do to get it to validate. Right now there's not really any way to change the form action without hacking the core plugin files.

Thanks for the swift reply, the url where the form is :
http://www.poie.thinkbigcreative.co.uk/tables/

You will see that it not only chokes on the empty post action, but also a few other things too!

thanks again

p.s. Anyway for myself to tinker around and alter the empty post action??
