I used Firefox with the Web Developer toolbar for that one. Glad you were able to solve it by refreshing the permalinks. Thanks for the update.

Permalinks. So simple!! I tried everything but because I wasn't seeing the 404 error, I never thought of the obvious problem. Thanks! I've spent hours on this.

What tool are you using to view the response headers? I've seen this used but have never done it myself.

This page http://www.weddingdj.co.nz/contact-nick-logan/ also displays fine but is returning a 404 response code. There is something in the configuration of your site or server that is doing this. It's not related to Gravity Forms, although it is preventing Gravity Forms from working properly.

Seems that you have narrowed it down to a problem with the theme, since it works with other themes. I would check the theme's functions.php or permalink settings (maybe just visit the permalink page and resave the permalink settings).

This is due to configuration on your server or with the theme or .htaccess file.

This page: http://www.weddingdj.co.nz/test/

Displays fine. However, if you check the response headers, the page is actually returning a 404 response code, rather than a 200 or other success code. That is why Gravity Forms is not working.

I've tried everything - SMTP plugins (which are sending test messages fine), I've tweaked the form settings every which way, and I got it working on a NON Elegant Theme without any issues.

ET say there shouldn't be any problems running this plug in.

Two website contact forms just do NOT work. The form looks fine, but it won't send. When I press submit, the fields refresh to blank, and there's no redirect, no confirmation message, nothing (I've tried all 3 options on the form confirmation tab).

I don't know what to try next.

Both sites are live but not optimised and not really doing anything, yet. The text on the site is just filler. However as someone could stumble across the sites, I've put the contact form on a hidden test page, one with AJAX, one without for comparison.

Memoir theme: http://www.weddingdj.co.nz/test/ (ajax on)
SimplePress theme: http://www.theweddingmc.co.nz/test/ (ajax off)

I'm using GoDaddy as well, if that makes any difference.

As far as I'm aware, I've followed the instructions, I've searched both these forums at the ET forusm, I don't know what else to do. I can usually figure this stuff out, and I hate having to ask for help.
