Here are some Gravity Forms developers you could try:

Ounce of Talent
http://www.ounceoftalent.com

WebDev Studios
http://www.webdevstudios.com

I don't know of sites off the top of my head that are using it as a business directory, I just know that a lot of users use it for that with the Directory Add-On. I'm pretty busy with product development and support so I don't get to visit user sites as much as i'd like to. Here is the Directory Add-On, you could check it's support forum to see people who are using it or try contacting it's developer for examples:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-addons/

Thanks for the reply. I'd be interested in contacting someone who could do this for me.

Also, is there an example I can see of a business directory that was setup using Gravity Forms?

We have many users using Gravity Forms to create business directories using the Gravity Forms Directory Add-On which is in the Wordpress.org plugin repository. It is a 3rd party add-on for Gravity Forms.

Gravity Forms does not currently support entry import. It is a feature we plan on adding in a future release.

It is possible import entries now, however you have to write custom code to do so and the person writing the code will need to be knowledgeable on how Gravity Forms stores data in order to import it properly.

If you decide to use Gravity Forms and need someone to assist you with the entry import we'd be glad to recommend someone with Gravity Forms development experience.

Hello there,
I have a new site I'm building. The site will have a business directory built-in to it. I'm curious if Gravity Forms is a good choice to use as a business directory. So is it?

Additionally, if I can use Gravity Forms, I have a list of 400 business names I need to import into the directory. The fields include name, email, address and business name. How would I go about importing those contacts? What's the process I would undertake?

Any tips or advice are greatly appreciated.
