It's not possible to save it as a draft on the specific authors/contributors post page because that only shows posts they created. This wouldn't be a post they created. It would be a user created post and the author would be either set to a default author you choose, or if the user submitting the form is logged in they would be set as the author.

As for notifying the author they have a question, you could use the Routing rules in the Admin Notification for this. You would create a Drop Down on your form that lists the Authors, then you would edit the Admin Notifications and configure the Send To so it uses Routing, then configure the Routing rules so it sends to each author based on the Drop Down selection made on the form.

Hello. I just purchased the Gravity Forms plugin and I am having a hard time grasping everything.

I am running a Question and Answer section on my wordpress website.
Essentially I want the users to be able to ask a question through a form, however, I want them to have the opportunity to choose between WHO of the authors/contributers/whoever they want to submit the question to from a drop down box.

Then when they submit their question I want the selected author/contributor to be notified via e-mail. If possible I would also like the question to be saved as a draft on that specific authors/contributors post page in the administration panel.

Is this possible?

Regards,
David Plum Olsen
