Sorry to pickup on an old thread, but this sounds very close to my need...

I'm already limiting my time-slots (just like the original poster) to "No Duplicates" so that only one person can signup for each slot. My question is:

Is there anyway to SHOW what time-slots have ALREADY BEEN FILLED??? Either by the form automatically removing them from the multiple choice question after a user picks that slot? or by simply revealing which slots are full?

Thanks!

You can select the multiple choice and select no duplicates for that, instead of the email section.

That would prevent someone from registering for multiple time slots with the same email address, but I need to do sort of the opposite. Maybe there is a way (as Carl described) with the "no duplicates" thing. I will keep thinking about it. Open to other suggestions and solutions as well.

Thanks

I don't know if this is possible (I'm no expert), but this sounds a little like the second post by Carl on this post:
http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/only-one-submission-per-forms

Are you able to select no duplicates in the rules, so that once that time slot is selected it will not be available?

It would almost be like an inventory of time slots, where once one is sold (i.e. someone volunteered for it) it's unavailable to anyone else. Just trying to come up with a way to think about it.

I have a pretty frequent need to organize volunteers for various time slots for various events. Once I have a volunteer for a time slot, I don't need another. So, I'd like to make that time slot unavailable.

For example, I need three volunteers for each of these time slots, on one day:

9:00 - 9:45
9:45 - 10:30
10:30 - 11:15
11:15 - 12:00

(I need 12 volunteers this day)

So, I could make three radio buttons for each time slot, but I would like to know if there is a way for the radio buttons to disappear or be unselectable after someone has volunteered. Any type of automated solution is fine, because right now I manually edit the form after receiving submissions, to reduce or eliminate the availability of certain slots. But this is not ideal because I need to continually watch it, and what happens is there are many submissions immediately after the call for volunteers goes out, and I inevitably end up with two people signed up for the same spot.

So, any way you can think of to do this in an automated (or semi-automated) fashion?

Thanks, as always.
