Your profile question is off topic for this and more appropriate for the BuddyPress forums. It's largely dependent on your theme and how you display information on the member's profile page.

BuddyPress XProfile supports field groups, which will probably accomplish what you want.

Hmm...interesting. So I could set all of the user details on a single form. And how would I get all the details printed to a BuddyPress profile? I know of conditional logic, I guess I'll just have to see how it goes.

One other slightly random part...is it possible to set categories on the profile? So that I can style each section with a box and some colour? So for example, I'd have an about me section, a personal section, a contact details section ect....

BTW, I love this site and company, the help you guys give is always perfect and clear. You should make more products because I'd definitely buy them :)

I don't see why you couldn't do this with conditional logic. Show and hide the fields on the form you want them to fill out based on selections you make.

Ultimately the User Registration Add-On Feed would have to be setup to take all of them into account, but only the fields with values are ultimately going to be created.

Hi all, I love Gravity Forms.

I'm trying to make the following happen.

I need to make a site which allows users to select a profile type as they sign up. When they do, they get a set of options that are relevant to their selection appearing.

But I also need all this information to appear automatically on their BuddyPress profile.

I have figured out how to get stuff on the buddypress profile, but I don't want EVERYTHING from that section to appear. Just the stuff that is relevant to the user's selection.

EG, they are asked what their profession is, and then a section that expands on that appears. So a model would have a bunch of details about size, weight, and actor would have accents they can perform.

Thanks guys! :)
