You could use the Admin Notification instead of the User Notification to send them the email.

The Admin Notification has an option on the Send To address called Routing, selecting Routing lets you configure which email address the notification should go to based on a selection in the form. So you could configure the Routing so that the email is sent to the appropriate email address based on the User selected in the drop down.

Then if you also need to receive the Admin Notification you can use the BCC field for your email address, or whoever else is supposed to receive the Admin Notification.

This will allow you to have just the User selection, they won't have to also select or enter their email address.

Hi, i'm putting an IT support form together for the company i work for. The page is password protected and the password is only given to senior staff (Directors, Managers & Team Leaders).

This is how i want it to work:

User selects themselves from drop down --> user fills out support request --> user gets copy of support request.

The problem: supplying the "copy email notification field" with the email address of the user selected from the drop down.

I don't want two drop downs (for users names and email address).
I don't want a single line field for users to enter their email address.

Is there a simple way of supplying the name of the person which filled the form in as well as supplying the "copy email notification field" with the email address of the user selected.

Cheers
Leon
