The WordPress auto-update change was back around version 1.3.1.2 so any subsequent versions should display any update notices an run the auto-updates properly. This could be because your license key isn't entered properly in the settings page, or something else is preventing your WordPress installation from communicating with our update servers.

There was a change to the way WordPress handled updates and some earlier versions of Gravity Forms could not be automatically updated from the admin. You will be notified of new Gravity Forms versions in the admin panel from this point forward and will be able to update automatically from there.

Thank you for updating.

The problem was that I was running an outdated version of Gravity Forms (v. 1.5.2.2).

I thought it was up-to-date, because my Wordpress did not show updates available.

Is it normal that Gravity Forms doesn't show updated available via Wordpress?

I have an installation of Gravity Forms 1.5.2.8 on WordPress 3.2.1 and do not have this trouble. I'm using no plugins and the default Twenty Eleven theme.

You say that there shouldn't be any theme or plugin conflicts (which is true: there shouldn't be), but I think you will find this is a plugin conflict. Some plugins output their JavaScript on all pages or all admin pages, not just their own admin pages. It is more likely a plugin conflict than a theme conflict.

You should test for plugin conflicts by following the troubleshooting tips here:
http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/testing-for-themeplugin-conflicts

Please post back if you do find a plugin conflict. Thanks

TypeError: 'null' is not an object (evaluating 'd.toLowerCase')

It appears in the admin-panel, when I go to the list of my forms, click "edit", and want to "hover" over a field, to edit the field. I.e. the blue box with options is not displayed.

The same feature (blue box with options) works fine, when I am on the "create a new form" page. As soon as the form has been saved, and I want to "edit" the form, it doesn't work anymore.

It's all newest versions of Wordpress and Gravity Forms. It happens in the admin-panel, so there shouldn't be any Theme og Plugin conflicts.
