I have several countries in a select field, and I want to use a java script to set the initially selected field to "Germany" - how can I do that?</p> <p>I want the events of the select to be fired as if the entry would have been chosen manually (because another form field is dependent on the selection).</p> <p>(The country depends on an url get parameter, that's why i need java script to read the parameter - I've got that covered - and then make the corresponding selection in the select field)</p> <p>Thanks! </p>
