The current terms give you one year of support and access to any updates and add-ons (developer license holders) released during that time period. It's not a charge-per-update kind of scenario.

Also, Gravity Forms isn't crippleware, so after the initial one year subscription ends renewing the subscription is completely optional. The plugin will still work, you just won't have access to support and updates.

We plan to keep our renewal subscription rates reasonable and affordable for most everyone and as I mentioned above, we'll be posting those some time in the near future.

Since we're distributing a non-tangible digital product, our policy is not to issue any refunds after purchase.

I just purchased the developers license, and figured out afterward that I was late for the lifetime part. Is the fee for support or for updates to? I might have had my client purchase a single license instead of me buying the developers license, if I thought I was going to have to pay for updates. If after you post what this annual or monthly fee is going to be if I want to "return" my developers purchase and go site by site is that possible?

We're still finalizing the pricing structure for support/upgrade renewals. We'll post those as soon as we've got everything broken out.

Thanks for the fast response, Kevin. No problem. I understand there must be a cut-off point somewhere.

My question is, after the initial year of support and upgrades, how much will the annual or monthly renewal fees be?

I'm sorry guys but the train has left the station on that offer. We gave everyone plenty of notice of the upcoming change, then even extended the offer with a Copyblogger promotion for another week.

We simply have to cut it off somewhere and move forward. Even with the new one year support/upgrade model, I think you'll find you get a lot for your money.. especially if you're getting the developer license with the free add-ons. Lots more goodness is on the way.

I'm wondering the same question. I am newly interested in this plugin after a few months of research and was just ready to buy the developer's license but am less motivated knowing that I missed the lifetime support/upgrades by a month.

I develop SEO ecommerce websites and find that this plugin would help greatly in creating a lot of the functions my clients want. But, at $200 for a dev license that no longer has lifetime upgrades and support, I would wait until the last minute that I absolutely needed it - and only if I couldn't find other solutions.

Is there any way that GF will extend the lifetime license for those that are ready to pull the trigger but missed the offer by a month?

Thanks in advance for an answer.

Hello,

is it still possible to buy a developer support license with free lifetime support and upgrades. I know I'm a little bit late, because the terms of service will change, but I hope it's not too late.

Regards,
