I'm not sure what you mean by "Close this form now"?

If you don't want a form to be available you can set it as inactive. The active/inactive flag is an icon on the page that lists all your Forms. It appears just to the right of the checkbox used for the bulk actions.

If a form is inactive it won't display on the front end.

Form scheduling and entry limits are used for making a form unavailable based on form entry action by an end user. Forms active/inactive setting makes a form unavailable based on an admin action.

Here's a related question/suggestion. I'd like to be able to say "Close this form now" and/or "Close this form on this date/time." I know I can do the former by setting the limit number to zero but it would be nice if it were more obvious.

You can also see a video of how to limit entries on this blog post:

http://www.gravityhelp.com/gravity-forms-v1-2-released/

Scroll down to the "Form Scheduling And Entry Limits" section of that blog post and it describes the feature and includes a video that shows it in action.

I'm not sure which features you are referring to, if we say it does it, it does it. You can limit form entries in Gravity Forms. Are you running the latest version of Gravity Forms?

You purchased the plugin on September 27th which means if you haven't downloaded the latest version or used automatic upgrade to upgrade to the latest version... you are probably running an old version of the plugin.

The latest version of Gravity Forms is v1.2.2 and you can see which version of Gravity Forms you are running by going to Forms > Settings in the admin navigation.

If you are running Gravity Forms v1.2+ you can limit entries by following these steps:

- Click Edit Forms in the plugin menu.

- Hover over the form you want to edit and click Edit.

- Hover over the form name and click Edit to bring up the Form Settings panel.

- Select the Advanced tab from the Form Settings panel.

- Check the "Limit Number Of Entries" checkbox

- Fill in the number of entries you want to limit the form to in the "Number of Entries" box.

- Type in the message you want displayed to users once the entry limit has been reached.

- Save the form by clicking the Update Form button.

Your form will now limit entries based on the settings you entered.
