Gravity Forms stores each form data entries separate, and you can't separate out different fields to have their data stored in different places. Sorry.

I was not looking for a way to get data from the table into forms, just for a way to store all user data of the various contact forms in one place so they are more easy to work with. Also I wanted to copy large parts of a "master" contact form for different applications - i.e. a form to ask information about something specific. I.e. all the forms would have the same basic fields, including for instance the option to ask for a news letter etc.

From the answer above I understand this is not possible. Bit of a shame really. If there is any tip you have to help me do what I am looking for then please let me know.

This is not something Gravity Forms will do out of the box, but you can always store your contact details in one table, then pull them out into your form using one of the hooks or filters. How do you want to use the contact details in the form?

I would not copy database entries.

I am creating a site with multiple response forms.
Somehow it would be nice if:
a) I could have all the contact details in one table
b) I could copy/past complete forms to create derivatives....

Is this something gravity forms can do in an easy way.
Note: I have seen the manual copying of database entries; tricky job.
But I wonder if/how it applies here; the database contains a lot of json formatted data it seems.
Copying database entries will probably create some numbering problems etc.
