So I decided to update manually - I download the gravityforms-1.6.12 folder, extracted it, and replaced the current gravityforms folder that was in my plugins folder with it.</p> <p>That's all I did. I'm fairly new to WordPress, so I don't know if there's any more steps to this manual update process.</p> <p>Anyways, with that change made, Gravity Forms now does not show up in the Dashboard, anywhere. Not in the Plugins page or anything, so I can't activate it. I had no forms before, so I can't tell if they would still be working.</p> <p>Where did I go wrong? What can I do to fix the situation?</p> <p>EDIT: To follow up, the problem has been fixed. Basically, I extracted the parent of the gravityforms folder to the FTP directory, and ended up with one folder too deep of hierarchy. </p>
