Sorry about that. Yes, I thought it was gone. Well, it's OK now. I went back and recreated them all. Thanks, you're very helpful; I appreciate it.

You can export forms from one site into another. If your old site is still accessible, yes you could export the forms. But you'd have to be able to login to your old site and export the forms using the Import/Export tool. You made it sound like your old database no longer existed.

Oh, wait! What about exporting the old form and importing it? I see the old wp-content and other files, and I can still log in. It's a different directory from where I will have the website, but could I export the form from the old location and import it into the new location?

Your form data is stored in your database. It isn't stored on the file system. They are dynamic and database driven. So if you created a new database, you will need to create your forms again.

Hmm…I had to create a new database. There was a problem with the way WordPress was installed and moved and I had to rebuild the whole website over the last few hours… I guess that means that I have to recreate all of the forms?

Gravity Forms data is stored in your WordPress database. The plugin itself must run out of the wp-content/plugins/gravityforms folder otherwise it won't function properly. Your form should still exist in your database if you didn't delete the data. Just reinstall and reactivate Gravity Forms.

Hi,
I had to do an emergency move of Gravity Forms from one directory to another. Where does it store the form data so that I can reconnect it? I spent quite a bit of time crafting some forms with conditional elements and don't remember everything that I did.

Thanks,
Scott
