1. Progress bar indicator is built in to multi-page forms. Lightbox implementation is not. You would need to use a lighbox script or plugin on your site, then embed your Gravity Form in it. Here is an off-site explanation of opening your Gravity Form in a lighbox: http://websitesetuppro.com/how-to-open-gravity-forms-form-in-a-lightbox/

2. Create user account is a feature of the User Registration Add-on. You can require that PayPal payment be completed before registering the user. Both these add-ons require a developer license.

3. I'm not sure what the form output plugin is or what you would be outputting. Please clarify that and I will do my best to answer your question.

For examples, here are some customer's forms

This one uses steps rather than a progress bar:
http://www.gestoriaonline-gestiona.es/formulario-contratacion-pack-autonomos-basico/

This one uses a progress bar:
http://accucolorweddings.com/invitations/fleur-de-lis/?

Thanks Chris.

Hey I want to tell you that I appreciate you are very busy, so I am not just sniveling about pointless stuff like a few time-wasters do on other support forums:)

It's pretty important to gauge how much development time is involved for me.

So lets just have a quick checklist to see if features are already there or if something needs development?

GF multi-page lightbox form with progress bar

Return from paypal and create user account

After Account creation go to form output plugin

I am guessing this is all nearly included in what I want.
Do you have a URL on the multi-step forms?

Thanks Chris!

All that can be done. I would not say easy as pie, but all those things have been accomplished by Gravity Forms users.

I think my title says it all.
I want a lightbox form (that communicates via ajax?).
That has a progress bar (updating after each portion is submitted).
At the end (last portion of form), off we go to PayPal.
After successful Paypal back to site where GF creates a subscription (or user account or membership, whatever GF does).
The subscription can be behind the scenes.
After subscription, off to the print/download page (Gravity Forms PDF Extended).

Is this easy as pie?
