You may be able to do this with some custom jQuery wizardry... I don't know off the top of my head what would be involved but I could put you in touch with a WordPress consultant with LOTS of jQuery experience and Gravity Forms customization experience that has done a lot of really cool customizations that you could discuss this project with.

He can be contacted here:

Ounce of Talent
http://www.ounceoftalent.com

If it's possible to do, he would be the one that could implement it.

Unfortunately internally we don't have time to do customizations ourselves because we are too busy with product development and support.

figured as much :(

Well... i don't suppose you have any suggestions for simply DISPLAYING the total number of pages...? ie: maybe use the "HTML" field with some code that multiplies the two quantity fields.

Obviously i don't expect this to be saved into the GF database... just display on the page so that the user submitting the form has a visual representation of how many pages they are printing....

I'm just spit-balling here ;)

This isn't currently possible with the features in 1.5 and the PayPal Add-On.

The only thing you could do is mimic this functionality with a product drop down that has the first quantity as the product name and then use a Quantity field tied to that product drop down as the number of copies.

But that means you'd have to populate the drop down with all the possible number of pages... so it could be very large.

I'm building a print shop submission form. So it would be helpful if i could have 2 quantity fields that are multiplied to produce a TOTAL NUMBER OF PAGES...

Example: 3 page document X 4 Copies = 12 total pages

Then it'd be even BETTER if the TOTAL pages was used to derive the TOTAL cost.

http://www.onoj.com/dbc-print/

Any ideas on how I could go about this with GF?
