ok - I am having the same issue - not to detract from GF being great - but what other solutions are more geared towards shopping cart type forms (but have file upload)

We will be continuing to expand our product management solutions in the future, but as you said, right now, it may not be ideal.

Delta - I too have run in to the same issue selling apparel. I have come to the conclusion that although GF is a great product in a generic sense, it might not be the best for our industry (Shirts/Apparel). I intend to utilize GF for a total of three sites, but in the near future I will be looking to see if there is a solution more geared toward our targeted needs. IF I find something I will let you know.

Right, so like I said, Gravity Forms can't handle one product with multiple quantity fields. You could have a single product with options like S/M/L/XL, etc. And even charge a premium for 2XL like many other sites, but anything they would order of that shirt would be that single size. You could have all three of your shirts set up this way, and for many people, this won't ever be an issue. But as far as I know, you can't easily have quantities related to options.

The only way I know of to get it to work as you would like is unwieldy, and requires you to have something like:

T-Shirt 1 - S : QTY -
T-Shirt 1 - M : QTY -
T-Shirt 1 - L : QTY -
etc...
T-Shirt 3 - XL : QTY -

Then when you get your submission the label will have the T-shirt descriptor as well as their sizes.

>The issue I'm having in setting up the form the way you want it is that you seem to want to be able to order a number of shirts in different sizes, correct?

Yes, exactly.

Ok, this works (somewhat undesirable front-end output notwithstanding), but now when I submit the form, the entry only displays - for example - "Small 1 $20.00" (of which I have 3 Small sizes for 3 different products)...even though I changed the Admin Label under Advanced to "Short sleeved blue golf - Small". The end-user looking at the entry will not know which product it is referring to. Any ideas on that?

Thanks!

I am not the expert here on this, but hopefully my advice can help. Instead of considering the three shirts as products, consider the combination of the shirts and their sizes as the product.

So you show the details for shirt one, and then make the sizes for that shirt the products, so the quantity fields can easily be added, and you can easily organize your order form.

Let me know if what I'm saying doesn't make sense to you.

Hi,

I have a t-shirt order form I need to build, and I'm not sure how to go about this with GF.

The form will have 3 products (t-shirts) with multiple sizes (S, M, L, XL, etc.). Intuitively, I set up one Product for each t-shirt (disabling the quantity field), with multiple Quantity boxes labelled by size, tied to the product; this doesn't seem to work.

Anyone know if this is possible and how to make it work?
