Yes. If your PayPal account already had IPN turned on and pointing to some other location, that means IPN is active. You can just check the "Confirm..." checkbox on the Settings page at that point. Gravity Forms passes a custom IPN address to PayPal with each transaction so it doesn't use the IPN location configured in your PayPal Account. BUT IPN won't work unless that field is populated with a value. It's kind of silly UI on PayPal's part.

So if we are using the same PayPal email address with >1 website, we should simply "check" the "Confirm that your have configured your PayPal account to enable IPN" option in Gravity Forms settings (URL/admin.php?page=gf_settings&addon=PayPal) and leave the PayPal IPN as is?

We can declare the PayPal IPN settings as siteA.com/?page=gf_paypal_ipn even if they are also coming from siteB.com/?page=gf_paypal_ipn and siteC.com/?page=gf_paypal_ipn?

No it won't impact your other sites.

As far as IPN setup goes, if your PayPal account already has the IPN address configured in your IPN settings, then you can leave it as is. Gravity Forms passes a custom IPN address to PayPal.

The only time the IPN address has to be populated is if it's not already pointing somewhere. PayPal requires the IPN address to be populated for IPN to work. But it can be pointed to a non-Gravity Forms service and Gravity Forms will still work with it.

Quick question? I already have a site using a standard paypal account to collect online payments. If I set up my gravity forms with paypal add-on (using the same account) will it effect my other site? Not sure if this makes sense...Just want to make sure I can use the same paypal account?
