It seems to be working again - by leaving it as is. I must assume it's the gmail issue others talk of. I guess I jumped the gun.

With it working as advertised, it's an excellent plug-in!

Some people on twitter have mentioned problems with gmail today:
http://twitter.com/jschuller/status/10625798756

Maybe that's related?

If you are using the SMTP plugin you will need to check with your host on what the correct settings for it should be. We have many users using the WP SMTP plugin on GoDaddy, particular on Windows based hosting.

If emails are trickling in that would point to a problem with 1) your host or 2) gmail itself and not the Gravity Forms plugin itself. Gravity Forms sends the notification immediately upon the form being submitted by executing a function call to the built in WordPress mail function. Once this function call his executed, it's out of Gravity Forms control and at that point is on your web server to send the emails.

Update - emails seem to be trickling in. I just got one that I sent from a form. I got the "user" one, not the "admin" one (yet).

When I send an email directly to or from my gmail account - not involving the blog at all) - they are going thru fast, like normal.

Thru the blog, it is being delayed, sometimes for an hour or more (since some haven't come yet).

Users more experience than I - would this seem to indicate an problem with:

gmail (my email)
godaddy (my blog host)
plugin(s)

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I installed "wp mail smtp" plugin and when I set it up and sent test emails, it failed. The failure log says it can't connect to SMTP host.

I have currently deactivated the plugin, since Subscribe2 works and I don't want that failing too.

I know this has nothing (yet) to do with your plugin, but if I can't make your plugin send notifications, it is worthless to me.

Now - I just received two emails from the site - thru the form notifications. They were for both the user notification and for the admin notification for one form. I sent 3 from this form - this is the middle one. It skipped the one before and the one after.

I just tried again and it's been 10 minutes since I filled out a form - nothing.

Any help would be appreciated!

I am new to Gravity Forms - one week.

I set up three forms all with notifications to be sent to me (at my admin account).

Everything worked fine for the first several days. Now, I get no notifications. I have made some minor edits on forms, but never changed the notifications. I have checked and re-checked the notifications settings - all are the same.

I use gmail - google apps (I have a commercial gmail account).

The blog is hosted by godaddy. I have whitelisted the hosting IP address in my google acccount.

All forms show up in entries when completed - the notifications just aren't sent.

When I send a test email from another account to the account my notifications use - they go thru.

I use the plugin Subscribe2 and it sends emails from the blog whenever new posts area added. It has worked fine before and after I installed Gravity Forms and continues to work. So, it sends emails from the blog and they get thru - including to the same address I am using for notifications

It seems that sometimes, the user gets a confirming email and sometimes not - until last night, when I first noticed the notification issue, the always worked. Now, I got one when I tested the three forms (but only one, not three). Now doing the same testing, I am not getting any. Again, all notification settings are the very same for all forms and haven't been changed.

Any ideas?
