I changed my host, and renamed from the test domain to the final domain, and I experienced the Oops Problem. The Meta Recovery Tool worked for me. Thanks!!

Because of this:

was manually removing some things from the database

I can't give you any instructions on how to recover or even hazard a guess on what was removed. If you can roll back to a good database before you removed things, that would be good. Otherwise, remove all the Gravity Forms tables, uninstall the plugin and install the plugin fresh. I you roll back, you will obviously lose changes since that point in time. If you remove and reinstall, you will lose everything related to Gravity Forms. Be sure that is acceptable to you before you go this route. Thank you.

That did not fix it so... you said, "Remove and reinstall is not going to help you." What do you suggest for next steps? Shall I attempt to roll back the database or is there a way to move forward that will help. Like I said I am not crazy about losing the data but it will not be the end of the world.

There are no instructions, although it's fairly simple.

Install the plugin

Activate the plugin

Navigate to the Forms > Meta Recovery menu item (wp-admin/admin.php?page=gf_metarecovery)

Select a form from the drop down

Click "Submit"

Repeat for all forms in the drop down

Remove and reinstall is not going to help you.

I guess it depends on WHAT you removed from the database to know if this is recoverable. Why were you removing things in the database directly, and what were those things?

Did you change hosts or domain names or directories?

A very basic tool you can try is the meta recovery plugin. You can download it from this page:
http://www.gravityhelp.com/downloads/

That will attempt to fix your forms if they got corrupted. If that does not work, without knowing what you deleted, you may have to start over.

Mea Culpa, I am sure this issue is my doing as I was manually removing some things from the database using phpMySQL and reading some of the other threads I now know this can cause a problem. I have tried switching themes and deactivating some possibly conflicting plugins to no avail.

Now the forms are still present and they do have their data in the entries section and they still function in preview mode. However when inserted live, I get the "Oops! We could not locate your form." message.

Now I don't want to lose this data but it would not be the end of the world. I do however need my forms to be functioning correctly very soon. Any ideas? I would even be willing to completely remove and re-install if there is no other way. Please advise.
