Sorry, I misunderstood your initial question. My apologies.

There is a setting at PayPal called "PayPal account optional" I believe. Make sure that is checked (so your visitor will not have to have a PayPal account.) However, PayPal reads the cookies in the visitor's browser to determine if they have a PayPal account or not. This is largely out of your control. Here is a good discussion http://stackoverflow.com/a/8087650

This too http://www.mattcollins.net/2010/08/new-paypal-checkout-page

And this http://stackoverflow.com/q/10148918

I'm apparently not explaining myself very well -- all I want to know is how Gravity Forms' own checkout page (via Paypal) defaults to the drop-down for credit cards rather than their standard Paypal payment option -- see this example screenshot: http://3cstudio.com/temp/example-gravitycheckout.jpg . . . typically the "Choose a way to pay" section is set to the "Have a Paypal account?" panel. Please let me know if this is a Paypal option/function or if it needs to be done via Gravity Forms. Thanks!

Steve C.

Steve, I moved you topic to the regular support forums.

To use the credit card field, you need to have a different payment add-on, like the Authorize.net or PayPal Payments Pro add-ons. In addition, you need an SSL certificate for your host. With those things, you can process the credit card directly on the site, without sending your visitor to the PayPal website.

This is not pressing, but I'm wondering how you setup the checkout for my order of Gravity Forms (just today!) via Paypal -- the default payment form option is Paypal, naturally... but your 'open' toggled Credit Card option is much more desirable to some of my clients, in order to *not* scare off non-Paypal users. How is that done? Via Gravity Forms integration, or within the Paypal settings themselves?
Very curious to know,
Steve C.
