Hi Carl, thanks for your prompt reply. Forgive me for not being clear. I'm looking for something to use in conjunction with an e-commerce plugin that may assist in the easy retrieval / export of data rather than having to manually update each item / price / stock level etc inside Wordpress (which I've found is what all of the e-commerce plugins I've looked at so far require me to do). I know that's not strictly what this plugin is designed for, but I'm just trying to explore every possibility before I rule Wordpress out completely...

It's really going to depend on your needs.

Gravity Forms isn't a shopping cart plugin. It's a form builder plugin that has the ability to be used to create order forms.

It's order form capabilities are strictly for order form style payments. There is no shopping cart so there is no concept of products pages and adding products to a cart and then checking out. It's strictly a form that may have pricing fields on it and can be used to capture a payment.

So if you need shopping cart functionality, product page management, etc. you should probably look at an actual shopping cart plugin for WordPress. Here are some options:

JigoShop
http://jigoshop.com/

WooCommerce
http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/

Shopp
http://shopplugin.net

Hi,

Firstly congrats on a great looking product. I have a query before I purchase...

I am currently looking into replacing a site that uses osCommerce with a Wordpress-based site. The current site updates live from the company's database (which exports it's data in an osCommerce-friendly manner) so that customers visiting the site may see exactly how many instances of a certain product are in stock (please message me for the current site link so you may see what I'm talking about, if you are able to assist).

Essentially, I wish to know whether Gravity Forms are able to be customized sufficiently that they may replace this functionality and enable an easy transition to a Wordpress site. Perhaps someone has past experience of a similar integration?

I 'think' that GF will be the answer to my problem, but I'd like to discuss it further before purchasing if possible.

Thanks.
