I've got that issue too:

Tue Sep 20 10:04:22 2011] [warn] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: parse_url(/login/?ref=http://www.orion-partners.com/2011/01/high-performing-hr-business-partners/) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in /home/linweb05/o/orion-partners.com-1031521695/user/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/gravityformsuserregistration/userregistration.php on line 2321
[Tue Sep 20 10:04:33 2011] [warn] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Warning: parse_url(/login/?ref=http://www.orion-partners.com/2011/01/high-performing-hr-business-partners/) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in /home/linweb05/o/orion-partners.com-1031521695/user/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/gravityformsuserregistration/userregistration.php on line 2321

I don't believe that I've set the form to 'use' any specific URLs, I assume (maybe wrongly) that this is the referrer URL to which the plugin would return the visitor once registration is finished. I could well be wrong - I'm only guessing.

Again, this is only since the latest update. Interestingly, it also stops editors from viewing the posts edit screen, but only on some hosting. I have a staging environment where there is no problem, but on the commercial hosting, I get this problem:

http://www.parorrey.com/blog/wordpress/resolve-wordpress-adminedit-php-page-500-404-error-for-admin-posts-link/

but for editors only.

Would really appreciate a response to this.

@apinzone did you resolve?

Cheers,

David

What was the URL that was submitted? And how was the URL being used by the form?

Here is the error:

Warning: parse_url(/ask-sam/:///ask-sam/?fs=1) [function.parse-url]: Unable to parse URL in /home/content/01/7734001/html/sites/ourbestassociates/cms/wp-content/plugins/gravityformsuserregistration/userregistration.php on line 2321

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/01/7734001/html/sites/ourbestassociates/cms/wp-content/plugins/gravityformsuserregistration/userregistration.php:2321) in /home/content/01/7734001/html/sites/ourbestassociates/cms/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

As you can see the returned link is coming out very strange. I read on the PHP Manual that parse_url doesn't support parsing URI's ... but I'm not PHP expert by any means... and I have a backup of the plugin and it seems the code didn't change.

Any help is greatly appreciated, this is a Corporate supported site and as you can probably guess people are on my back about this. Thanks!
