That's strange but it's good that whatever you did made it work.

I believe the problem is that you are using "none" rather than the number 0. I got a message from PayPal when I selected "none":

You have entered an invalid quantity value. A quantity value must be an integer greater than or equal to one.

You will have to adjust your process there to make it work.

Please help me with this: the form only goes thru if there is an amount other than 0 entered in the “I Wish I Could Just Write A Check Fundraiser” product. Form is live and working when that product has an amount.

made a new form, now changed product options to "quantities", now only problem is that there needs to be at least the quantity of 1 under the “I Wish I Could Just Write A Check Fundraiser” product for the form to go thru to Paypal. otherwise I get "You have entered an invalid quantity value. A quantity value must be an integer greater than or equal to one." GF entries are now working, and is submitting to PayPal for other products at "0" so don't know what is different here. - help!

This worked for me. All the correct information was passed to PayPal as far as I could tell. Screenshot: http://minus.com/lXCpQu26SiBJz

What was your experience?

I did not enter an email address, but when I arrived at PayPal you can see that an email address I have used in the past was prefilled. I'm not sure if that's related at all or not.
