May I tag my question onto this post? I am a total newby, so bear with me.

I finally managed to figure out how to get the form setup so that:

(1) Customer fills out form and clicks "submit"
(2) Customer completes transaction on Paypal

What I want to happen next is, an email is sent from my site to the customer with a link and password so they can download the PDF they just purchased. I would like the link and password to only be good for a certain period of time before it expires.

Is this something that can be done with Gravity Forms?
Is there a way to set it up so that an email template is sent after Paypal confirmation?
Is it possible to somehow generate a new password whenever someone makes a purchase?
If so, can anyone point me to a tutorial or even a plugin that will accomplish this?

Thanks much

Pam

Yes. Whatever confirmation settings you setup for your form will be used even if you are using the PayPal Add-On. As long as the user clicks Continue from PayPal to return to your site, if you configured the Confirmation as a redirect and passed query string values... it will do the same thing when they return from PayPal.

Ok - another quick question on this subject - can I have a redirect to a new page and pass the field data via a query string as I can normally - but once payment is complete?

Thanks

It depends on how you configure your PayPal Feed settings using the PayPal Add-On.

You can either send the notifications immediately when the form is submitted, or you can configure it so that the notification emails are only sent AFTER PayPal has confirmed payment. It's up to you and how you configure the settings.

Yes - but will the notification be sent when the user completes the form (and then moves to PayPal) or when the user has successfully completed payment?

Thanks,

Hello,
I'm looking to upgrade to the developer licence to take advantage of the PayPal add-on, however I have a quick question:

I know the form can be configured to create a post on payment completion, but can the form also be configured to send an email notification?

Thanks in advance,
Jon
