Ok, thanks for the quick response - that was the answer I expected. It's a good excuse to push them to updating the site with WP sooner than they planned. :-)

There isn't any way to use Gravity Forms without WordPress. Gravity Forms uses functions built-in to WordPress, and would require a great deal of work to separate out.

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but is it possible to use gravity forms *not* as a plugin? So for example, if I created the form using the same structure, id's, classes, etc and plugged it into an HTML page, call a few scripts in the head area, etc., and create a mySQL db for it to put it's tables into, would it work?

I have one site that is not built using WordPress (I inherited it from another webmaster) and while we do plan to eventually rebuild the site in WP, it may be some time.......but they need some forms and need to keep the data in a db.

I have a feeling I know the answer (will be no), but I was asked to ask, so I'm asking. :-)
