Yes you do have to separate them. You cannot register the same user twice, and there is no need too. You need to register them once, then have another form for registered users only to be able to post.

Yes, I have the User Registration add-on with this form. Then do I need to create a separate form to have them register then return to login to the posting form?

Sounds like you have combined the User Registration add-on with your form. Is that correct? if so, you can only use an email address one time to register a user. The email address must be unique. This is a WordPress restriction, not a Gravity Forms restriction. If you want the visitor to be able to post multiple times, the registration function will need to be separated from the posting function. You can then restrict the post form to registered users only.

I have a memorial website to allow friends to make posts:
http://dennislynntribute.com/

Adding their first post is no problem. When they try to add a second post, with their same name and email address, they get the following error:

"There was a problem with your submission. Errors have been highlighted below."
and the name and e-mail fields are highlighted in red with the following warnings:

"This username is already registered" and "This email address is already registered"

I have not marked "do not allow duplicates" for either of these in the field settings. How would I allow people to come back and make additional posts?

Thanks.
