Ok, that's what I was worried about...

Hmmm...I was going to kludge my "matchups" together for now by making a form that you can cut and paste the Post IDs of the nomination post and the sponsorship post into in order to vote for that matchup, but if I can't get the post ID into the body of the post on form submission I'm not sure I can make that method work at all...

Ok, will think about it. :). Thanks.

Which Post ID are you referring to? The Embed Post ID? If so this is the Post ID of the Post or Page where the form was submitted from. It's not the Post ID of the Post that is created if your form creates a Post. Gravity Forms wouldn't know that until after the Post is created, which would be too late to then include it in the post.

Website: http://www.dlantern.com (forms under menu items "Nominate Someone" and " Sponsor a Gift")

Ok, my forms are running and I was able to embed fields into the post body, but Post ID does not seem to populate in this scenario...is this because it is not assigned yet until the form submits it to WP and WP completes everything?

By the way, I want to thank Gravity Forms for helping me get my site functional in <6 weeks (and with me being a WP and CSS newbie, that was no mean feat...).
