I made a form on which I have several fields. This form is used by me to add posts to my blog.<br /> In this form I have a post title field which will produce the title of the post using a predefined text and other two single line text fields. The permalink is being set correctly when setup using the 2010/10/10/post-title permalink setup.</p> <p>One thing to note is the # wouldn't show up in the permalink anyway as it's not a character supported by the WordPress permalink rewriting.</p> <p>Also what are you using the embed_post:ID variable for? I just have one question about post titles and permalinks.</p> <p>My form uses a "Post Field ---&gt; Post Title" Field to create the title of a post.</p> <p>This field has the following settings:<br /> - checked "Create a Post Title Template", selected "insert Form Field" with the following value: Poetry # {embed_post:ID}<br /> - admin view only<br /> -other field options are default.</p> <p>Confirmation message is ok, Form is sent and the entry is created. I can see in my WP admin that the post title is "Poetry # {embed_post:ID}" and I can access the posts in the frontend no problem.
