Carl,

Thanks for the reply!

As for points 1, 3a and 3b: sounds great, awesome even!
As for point 2: well have to think of something else for that particular site i had in mind (most are wordpress except for one .. doh!)
As for point 4: for now we dont need calculations in our request form although in the future we might be doing so!

Again, thanks for the relply and there is a good chance i will be purchasing gravityforms in the near future! Awesome product!

1) Yes there is built in field validation. Certain fields require a certain format (ex. email field, number field, etc.) and you can set fields as required.

2) No, it is a WordPress plugin. The only way to display a form on an external site is by creating a blank page template, embedding the form, and then iframing it into the other site.

3a) Yes, the form confirmation is configurable and you can output the field values of you want. You have control over the text that is displayed and you can also choose to redirect to another page or a different URL.

3b) Yes, form notification emails are configurable. You control the content and can output form field values, etc. Currently file attachments are not supported, however HTML is so you could include a link to a file.

4) Gravity Forms could be used to submit a quote request, however it currently does not do field calculations so it isn't going to calculate price on the fly. We do plan on adding field calculations in a future release.

Hi,

I've been looking for a good "form script" for a while now and came across gravityforms wich seems like the ideal product for me. But before i purchase it i have some questions about the script:

1. Is there any form of field validation? (For example a green checkmark when a field is entered correctly or a red X when the field is entered incorrect)

2. Is there a way to use gravityforms outside wordpress? On an external site?

3.a. When a user enters a form, is it possible that when the form is entered, the page to wich the user is transfered after completeing the form, the user gets an overview of what he/she entered? (Pretty much a "thank you" message page wich has an overview of the entered values)

3.b. Im pretty sure its possible but id like verification: when the form is entered is there the possibility that the user gets an overview of what he/she entered in his/her email including a pre defined attachement? (like a pdf file)

4. Gravityforms pretty much can be used as an advanced quote request form right?

Much thanks in advance!
