However, you can integrate existing editors such as <a href="http://ckeditor.com" rel="nofollow">http://ckeditor.com</a> with Gravity Forms. You can apply ckeditor to any textarea field, including a Gravity Forms textarea field. </p> <p>2) You can upload images via the Post Image field and if you want them inserted into the Post Content automatically you can use the Content Template option on the Post Body field to configure the content and insert form field values (including images).</p> <p>3) This can only be done if the user has the embed code for the service (YouTube, etc.). Gravity Forms doesn't generate embed code for video services, so they would have to copy-n-paste the proper embed code. You could then use the Content Template option to insert it into the Post Body content.</p> <p>4) Gravity Forms does not allow editing of posts after they have been created. It is only for creating data. Post editing would have to occur in the WordPress Dashboard. It can be done as a customization but requires custom code. If this is an issue, Gravity Forms isn't going to be the right solution. This is a feature we plan on adding in the future.</p> <p>5) Users can select multiple categories if you add multiple Post Category fields to your form.</p> <p>6) Gravity Forms supports reCAPTCHA and the Really Simple Captcha plugin. I like the way it handles the "text" portion of a front-end post creator however it does not do a good job with images and media (embedded audio/video).</p> <p>I need to know if GF:<br /> 1. Has an HTML editor for the "content" box so that users can bold/italic/heading/etc. their posts<br /> 2. Allows images to be uploaded and inserted in the post automatically<br /> 3. Allows users to embed video and audio into the post from the front-end form<br /> 4. Allows users to edit posts that they have submitted<br /> 5. Allow users to select more than one category for the post<br /> 6. Have reCaptcha or some other spam protection (Akismet)</p> <p>As with likely many others, I really want to copy the Wordpress back-end post creation and put it on the front-end for everyone to use. Unfortunately this is not possible so I am looking for the best solution in the interim. Thanks! </p>
