Hi.

Quick question about the styling of the data printed out from the back-end results area. How do I style that to look like the form itself? Is there a stylesheet or something for that?

1.) Used for both pre-populating fields, and for sending query strings to populate fields.
2.) There is no way for a notification e-mail at this time to contain a CSV of what was entered in the form.

1. Is the "Allow field to be populated dynamically(?)" used for pre-populating form fields?

2. Can the notification email contain a CSV of the form output?

Thanks.

3. Can the results be printed to look just like it was entered on the form?
"It can look very similar, but maybe not exactly the same. There is a way to print out the data on the back-end. And if you make a PDF out of the data using a PDF add-on created by a third party, then you can make it look the same both on screen and in print."

An add-on provided by you or some other dev?

In the notification email, what does the {all_fields} look like? Edit: nvm, I see the results in the email that I received after submitting the form.

4. Can some of the form data be auto-generated from a user login from wordpress? i.e. name, address, contact info, etc.
"It can, but this can take some PHP skill to make work, especially if you are expanding the user meta information to include address and contact info beyond the normal user profile stored in WordPress."

Is that what the " Allow field to be populated dynamically(?) " is used for?

Also: Can the notification email contain a CSV of the form output?

Ps. thanks for the replies, it certainly does help.

You can try out our demo install at http://gravityforms.com/demo

You can set-up the form to e-mail whomever you like, either from a front end, user input, controlled backend set in place value, or conditionally based on what a user selects.

Hope it helps.

2. Is there a field to forward a filled out form to a specified email address?
"Yes, you can use our notifications system to e-mail whomever on submission of the form."

The idea is that many different people will be filling out the forms, and depending on who they are, the form data needs to be sent to different email addresses. I would want this to be controlled by the user, not on the back end. Is this what you are saying?

Do you have a trial, demo, video tutorial or something like that so I can see it in action?

1. I'd like to know if I can design a complex form but also have the ability for it to be printed out so a user can enter the data manually on paper (i.e. out in the field).

Printing out forms will be up to your theme, or more specifically, your ability to create a Print style sheet. Gravity Forms doesn't come with a print stylesheet for its forms that would create a nice looking paper form for people to print out and fill out.

2. Is there a field to forward a filled out form to a specified email address?

Yes, you can use our notifications system to e-mail whomever on submission of the form.

3. Can the results be printed to look just like it was entered on the form?

Form entries can be exported as a CSV.

I hope this helps.

4. Can some of the form data be auto-generated from a user login from wordpress? i.e. name, address, contact info, etc.

I need to be able to create a whole bunch of different forms that range from simple to complex including conditional display of fields and many drop-down options.

The blank forms should be printable.

The completed forms should be printable and/or emailable and look professional.

The completed form data should be able to export into csv.

The completed forms/data need to be routed to user specified email addresses.

The forms need to be password protected as they are used on a subscription basis.

I prefer to use Wordpress but am not married to the idea.

Is Gravity Forms the right solution for my requirement?

Thanks.
