I am curious why my form does not offer this. My form "Body" or "title" fields do not contain anything that resembles the comments above. Any reason for this? help!

I have spent 90 minutes looking thru all the documentation regarding creating posts and there is little if any info regarding the topic which I find very odd. You guys should update that info and make it way more obvious for new users. Based on the comment above I am not the only one having trouble finding this info. After all creating posts is one of the best features of your plugin. Thanks!!

There is a 3rd party Directory Add-on in the WordPress repository.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-addons/

Does that help at all?

If you did not want to do that, you could create a theme template to pull the fields and display them however you want.

Wow, that's makes it easy... Thanks, Chris!

Once more question, if I may.

I've used the Content Template to show the custom data on each individual post (i.e. that you see on single.php). How can I show a different layout for the grouped list (that you'd see on index.php)?

Think directory structure, with grouped listings showing just name and logo, and then clicking through to show all the info.

Thanks!

Thanks a bunch... Took a while to find it. Is this in the documentation at all?

What you probably want to do is use the content template. Navigate to the Post Body Field, and click the box that says "Create content template". Then you will see something like this:

http://minus.com/mcbg88c

Now, from the drop down, "Insert form field" you can include any of the values submitted via the form, and a couple other ones.

The content template will accept HTML as well, so if you want to make something bold, just wrap it in markup like this:

[html]
<strong>{Name:1}</strong>

Have fun and ask if you need any help.

I may be missing something obvious, but I created a new form so people can submit a post.

The form contains standard elements (post image, title) and some additional ones (name, website url).

The post title is being displayed, but none of the other fields are showing on the post.

Where can I find out how to display these?

Thanks
